About

Hi there!  I’m Lisa!

I’m so glad you’re here!  I’ve been blogging since late December 2013 and I write about the things that touch my life: parenthood, autism, faith, mental health, marriage and whatever else inspires me.

A little bio:  I’m 51 years old and have been married for 22 years.  I have three children:  two girls (ages 17 and 14) and a boy (age 10) – my younger daughter has autism and that keeps all of us on our toes.   Once, a LONG time ago, I was in a marriage that ended in divorce.  Along with being a mom and wife I’m also the Christian pastor of a small congregation.

Welcome!  Feel free to leave comments – I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for signing up to follow my blog. It is in its infancy and I haven’t hit my stride yet re: posting. I’d been trying to do Mel’s Microblog Mondays, but then Thanksgiving and now Christmas have gotten in the way.

Coming up in January I will be relocating (my house, not my blog). It will be wonderful when everything is accomplished, but right now I’m feeling slightly (well, a lot) overwhelmed. I hope to do better with my blog in the future.

I really enjoy reading about your life, your children and all the many sermons you have posted.

Please excuse me for posting this in your About Me space but I couldn’t find an email reply address.

Again, thanks for being one of my first followers.

Hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a healthy and happy new year!

My oldest is 15. My daughter with autism is 12 and my son is almost 9. They’re a handful!
